This week’s theme was close-up or macro. I do not own a macro…yet. It is the next item on my “prioritized purchased list”. But I saw a blog post by one of our own blog circle ladies a little while back about “reverse lens macro” and decided that I wanted to try it out. Since you don’t have a lens attached you have no control of the aperture. Some of my images were REALLY bright but I could still control the amount of light hitting the sensor with my shutter speed and ISO. The other element to watch out for is light leaks. Since your lens is not attached to the camera body the chance for light to get to the sensor is greater…but that might look cool in some instances. Read the rest of this entry »
