Love Me, Love Me Not | Valentine’s Day Craft

Well, this week was Valentine’s Day. I usually look forward to what Valentines my boys and I are going to make for their classmates (see last year’s here). But this year they decided that they wanted only to give Avenger and Star Wars store bought cards…insert mom’s pouty face here.
So instead of worrying about the kids’ Valentines I decided instead to focus on the teachers! So, I turned to trusty Pinterest to see what I could find. I decided I wanted to make some paper flower bouquets using the techniques found in this pin…

It’s February and that means Valentine’s Day is approaching! This is the first year that my oldest is in school. He is very excited about any chance to hand out goodies to his classmate and I have to be honest I was pretty excited too. When I was in school (a long long time ago, in a galaxy far away…) we used to fill out those paper pre-made Valentine’s Day cards and only sometimes did you attach a small piece of candy. In class, we would spend a big chunk of time making shoebox mailboxes where our classmates could drop in their little cards. I guess being a people person who’s major desire included having everyone like her and be her friend, this was a highlight for me. Though I know now that many of those were given out of necessity…breaks my heart. But I digress and we don’t need to get into my acceptance issues right now! LOL! Anyway, this time around is different.
