This week for our 52 week project the theme is LOW LIGHT. No remote shots this week. I need to keep working on my silhouette shots. I am not completely happy with this one from December. I need to keep playing with them.
I know Florida is a nice place to live but I really didn’t expect the panhandle to be THIS mild in the winter. I do miss the snow but how do you NOT enjoy being at the beach at sunset in the winter months! Though you won’t find me in the water, (brrrr!) these two crazies don’t seem to mind one bit.

So head on over to Katrina Lee’s blog to what amazing-ness she has created for this week’s LOW LIGHT theme and try to enjoy the last bit of light at the end of every day.
Cheers,
K

Do those two crazies belong to you? =) Great silhouette! I think the beach is the perfect place to work on those.
They are mine! You can’t keep the little one out of the water! Even if it is chilly! We have a great location very close that I need to take advantage of more often to practice! I don’t think the crazies will mind if we do
Burr! Beautiful silhouette.
Water is colder then the air right now. I am wondering (and waiting) for it to warm up before I venture in again!
The pose of the child on the left is fabulous, showing his fingers, and the color and lighting is gorgeous.
Thanks Michele. That one is always animated so it usually works with him!
Lovely!
Thanks Megan!
absolutely love it – gorgeous silhouettes!
Thanks Blaire!
I am so jealous of beach shots in the winter! I love this shot. Perfect silhouette for this week’s theme.
I had other plans for this week’s theme
They just didn’t pan out. I will try to amend this post later this week with my intended ideas I hope.
Oh, I think you did a GREAT job!!! I love how they are just playing and having a good ‘ole time!
Thank you Kathryn. They LOVE going down to the beach anytime. Even if it’s chilly!
beautiful shots!! I am jealous!
Thanks Heather. I am a snow and mountain kind of girl so I sometimes forget that being this close to the water is a blessing.
Love it! I’ve never thought of a silhouette with the water as a backdrop! Great!
They are great here because where we are the sunsets right down behind them. Makes for gorgeous reflections of the sun in the water too.
This makes me desperately miss Summer. I was born in Florida and moved to NC when I was 8….lovely golden reflections off the water…beautiful
Very nice shot. Great job on this!
Thank you Nikki.
I think you did a great job on this silhouette. Love the movement of the water. I would love to be there right now, our temp is a balmy 20 degrees below zero!!
Um… keep shooting these silhouettes, because you are rocking them! Perfect setting for it too, <3
