You know, it really has been cold outside these last couple of days. I mean for Florida that is. Okay, so maybe this is actually what normal is supposed to be for January. But last week it was in the mid-70s! Well, there would be no snow or icicles for me to photograph here.
That was my dilemma. How was I going to represent this week’s theme of “cold”? I had come up with a plan while it had been unseasonably warm. But, that plan fell thru this week when we actually started feeling like January down here. It’s probably for the better. Sitting on the beach with a big pile of ice cubes, keeping two Coronas “cold” may not have been very nice thing to post when some are digging out from snow drifts. (I have to confess though that being a Colorado girl at heart I am missing the white stuff a lot!)
I have been on a cleanse for the last two weeks and that means no alcohol. So with that vision of chilled Coronas fresh in my mind, I decided that I still needed a “cold” one. So here is my take on this week’s “cold” theme:
I wondered how it would work walking into our local package store with my camera and remote. No one seemed to notice or they just didn’t care to ask me what I was doing. Hee hee. So sit back, crack open a cold one and jump on over to see how the lovely Katrina Lee interpreted this week’s theme.
